Gayathri is a Senior Veterinary Nurse who found her calling in veterinary nursing in 2017 where her journey into the profession began with a double degree in Animal Science and Animal Health. Gaya has always believed in continued education and providing the utmost care for her patients which had extended to her pursuing her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing and more recently, her CPVN in Anaesthesia.

Of all the areas of nursing, Anaesthesia is where Gaya’s heart is. She loves the unique challenge each anaesthetic case brings and, even more so, the satisfaction of keeping each fur baby comfortable and safe while they’re under. Anaesthesia is where she hopes to continue growing her skills while giving every patient the calmest and safest anaesthetic experience possible.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Gaya in the swimming pool or on a very serious mission to find the best grilled cheese sandwich!
